I have paused production as of Tuesday, Jan. 16. School got in the way...and other things. I will resume work over the weekend and expect to be finished before the month is over. I'll post some screen shots later on. This will be my last movie for awhile. I just don't have the time.

What the heck is that??
Boxing glove...
without the animation it's hard to tell...looks kinda like a tomato.
That's a funny looking glove, my dear Bathroom Hippo.
Hope your 2007 is a good one.
I assume you don't mean scuba diving. That seems a lot more affirming in the long run -- what with looking at vibrant coral reefs in warm, shallow, sunlit tropical seas -- than sitting in front of a computer writing more code.
Of course, I've never scuba dived (dove?). I've snorkeled, though it gets a bit gross and all and you end up swallowing sea water and rasping trying to keep the flippers on and hoping you don't hit the coral or step on sea urchin (veeeery painful, as I found out in Dominica).
Do you remember the Simpons episode where the school was the "Springfield Heights Institute of Technology"? I just thought of that when I saw you mention your bachelor's degree in Information Systems and Technology.
--ArcturusOut
I meant "Simpsons" episode.
I was thinkin more along the lines of 99 luftballons.....
007 is your year, baby!
yeah I can't wait
I'd say it looks like a giant tomato with a smaller tomato hiding behind it.
Good luck with school this semester! :)
Hmmm...I was WAY off!
I thought it was a mooning hippo!
;-)
:-D
p.s. A gun?
Not a cake?
What's wrong with cake???
;-)
Arc - All my Institutional abbreviations have never spelled a nasty word...
Except for the Foundation of Ufology Center of Kandahar.
Sab - Somebody's familiar with their music history!
Dino - Oh.. I'm sure you can. Waiting is the funnest part!
Pissy - Thanks Pissy! You were the closest!
Jinster - Hippo's don't have red butts. Nothing wrong with cake!! I just prefer guns.... And until the day Nicholas Cage discovers that the Second Amendment was really about cake...
Or the Family Urology Center of Kansas.
(By the way, the F word is not an abbreviation for 'For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge.' That's an old wives tale. It comes from the German verb 'ficken,' which means 'to strike.' I'm sure you needed to know that.)
Cool. Looking forward to it. You are gifted.
how can waiting be fun. I mean I do okay if I got a good book ...
My entry for "What the boxing glove looks like" is a man who has been stung by a bee on his left butt cheek.
We could turn this into a regular "guess the picture" game.
You're quiet this week, Bathroom Hippo...
P.S. I just can't help but have you on my blog links regardless of anything.
Arc - I never really thought about the F-word all that much.
HCG - Thanks....I don't think I'm gifted....just curious.
Dino - speaking of books...I'm currently reading Cesar Millan's new book.
Mentok - Your imagination must come from experience?
Arcturus - Well.. I start school again on Monday..so I'm enjoying the few days I have left. Next week you should be hearing more from me.
I thought I had pissed you off with the hanging comment. I really see no problem whatsoever with having a mass murderer hang.
We didn't kill Saddam. The people he governed killed him. And please...with all do respect...don't call him a helpless old man...he killed hundreds of thousands of his own people. Invading Iraq is another story...but Saddam's death is well justified.
As far as Jesus is concerned...it's a muslim nation over there.
Can we take this discussion over to your blog? I would hate to offend my guests.
Well, you brought it up initially, but that's fine if you want to talk about it on my blog. I don't mind but again, I think we're just gonna talk past each other.
hello sweet hippo!
I'm getting a real feel for this next film...
Hippo, hippo ... how art thou? I think hippo -- as you've drawn him from behind -- looks disproportionately thin, given that he always looks from the front like he's busting out of his safari clothes.
No problemo...
will fix that tomo.
hippo- hope you like the eye candy on this weeks retro......
I removed one of my comments above, just so you'll know.
That guy in the picture looks like he's half in black face... Or is that a beard and teeth? And Hippo still hasn't put on weight. Plus I thought Hippo was a pacifist, sworn not to hurt anything animal or vegetable and most (but not all) fungal.
Beard & Teeth...
That guy is based on an old SNES game called Punch-out.
And Hippo's are responsible for more deaths in Africa than any other animal. They are not pacifists.
Nor do they put boxing gloves on and speak English and in a strange two-dimensional cartoon universe where they counter bizarre and fantastic creatures and weird, talking geometric forms that bounce in a sort of micro-gravity atmosphere. Just sayin'...
I think my all-time favorite nature show documentary was the following: "Beware the territorial hippo when whitewater rafting down the Limpopo River."
Oh, yes, I got your 60-day reference from yesterday finally. Very funny.
Hey EverBoldedHipster
Hope you had a good new year and xboxmass. Looking forward to the new cartoon.
Take him to the ropes B-Hip. Goarn gittim.
~Rich
12 days?
12 days!
Can't WAIT!
;-)
p.s. Hope it's ok...I nicked your gyrobo piccie & played with it a bit.
:-D
want to borrow for WORLD DOMINATION!!!!!!NWAHAHAHAHAH
Arc - I was serious. Winter has been normal here in Utah for years...I would imagine that it will pick up in D.C. soon.
Rich - Welcome back, finally! I'll go over to your place shortly.
Jin - A Scottish gyrobo will surely kill us all.
Cata - Do I know you from somewhere? Your writing style on your blog seems very familiar... I once rolled a giant boulder on Pissy before...she survived somehow. I'm guessing war with her will be a difficult challenge.
Hi B-Hip:
I answered your question -- at tedious length, I'm afraid -- in my comment section under yesterday's entry as best I could.
As for you and L>T, well, all I can say is she took it fairly hard when you removed her from your blog roll because she thought she was facilitating a substantive discussion she finds interesting (but approaches it, obviously, from a very different angle than you.) See my last comment reply to both of you. (As it is, I didn't even see that exchange until after the fact.)
Oh, yes, what in the world did SpongeBob ever do to you?? Next thing you know, you'll be taking on the Teletubbies ...
Will visit the other blog. Glad to hear about the progress,
(The former Hill here)
Is this another episode of "Guess the Picture"?
My guess is ...uh... Spongebob!
Hippo - Are you playing with my mind?
I visited your profile a couple of days ago, and you had removed That "Thing" and replaced it with SCUBA. Now SCUBA is gone, and That "Thing" is back.
What's up?
Arc- SpongeBob aided Osama in Tora Bora.
Old Broad - Woah...you sure have a lot of blogs!
Mentok - Smart ass! I'll try to include you into the movie somehow.
LM - I have two profiles...two accounts..both Bathroom Hippo. You see...this blog "That Thing" is new blogger and SCUBA is old blogger. This profile can't post to SCUBA...so I had to create an old blogger account. I'll typically be using this one most...the other one is when I'm lazy and don't want to log in.
Arc is such a guy! *sniff* A true christian. Well, Christian in spirit anyway, eh?
Hey sweet Hippo! Hope you have a great weekend!
~xo
LT: I'm happy for him and wish him the best.
Lee Ann: Long time no see! I've got some homework to do...and a lot of studying...but it should prove to be a great weekend. I started weight lifting at the beginning of the week...and doing a little boxing practice...you still go to the gym?
Good luck with all the physical activity, Hippo. Soon you really will resemble that thin Hippo you had on this post a while back!
Good luck with all the homework too.
Hope all is well.
Err... off to Scuba, I guess.
Wait ...you "wish me the best"?? That sounds like a real brush off line ... I guess it's over betwixt us. Just two ships passing in the night on the Great Salt Lake, or maybe the Aral Sea.
Oh, yes, have you seen Sacha Baron Cohen's "Bruno in Alabama" on YouTube? (Cohen is also Borat, of course.)
P.S. SpongeBob was not at Tora Bora. You're thinking of Cookie Monster and Snufflepagus.
Hope school and all things are going well sweet hippo!
Just zoooming by to say hello!
I miss your hundreds of comments at my place when you're so busy.
*POUT*
Beep beep!
Hey sweet hippo
Yo Bro! Hope you're enjoying your busyness and that things are going well for you.
~Rich
school must come first...
you mean you let school interfere with blogging? Wow I need to consider that
